And I recognize that needy &quot;meow&quot; you described from my own 20-year old cat, Roxie - she is the master of pulling it out at 3am.  Cuddle your little one close (if he&#039;s a cuddly one) and take advantage of every minute.  I will be thinking of you guys.</description>

		<description>i&#039;m sorry too. the same thing happened to my cat. i don&#039;t know how severe your cat&#039;s kidney failure is, but it seems pretty common and inevitable for older cats. i&#039;ve been giving mine subcutaneous fluids, prescription cat food &amp; supplements for the past two years to prolong his life.</description>

We tried to save him by giving him fluids by IV, but in the end it didn&#039;t help; he was just too sick.  We had to deal with the &quot;inevitable&quot; then, too.  I know how hard that is.  My shoulder is here if you need an extra one!</description>
